We can see lots of porcelain teapot, dinnerware, bone china material with lots of shinning gold lines or gold pattern. However, lots of  consumers don’t know What’s it ?

 Firstly– Does the gold color on porcelain are really gold?

About the gold. Gold material is used quite common for decorating porcelain,  especially for the premium product.  European , Middle East people and Chinese are all like gold very much.   It’s really gold,  metal gold. ancient metal means for money.

Secondly– How to process the gold on porcelain?

During processing on porcelain,  It will add some  tobacco Tar and some other material to rare gold, till it can be painted like water.  Seeing below Video

Thirdly– How to care the gold on porcelain?

With gold pattern porcelain or bone China dinnerware can’t be put into Microwave.  Because that the gold Melting point 1,948°F (1,064°C), once the temperature is over gold melting point into Microware , the gold patter will be melted and disappeared.

Fourthly– How to identity it’s a good gold?

Normally, used on porcelain gold material, the more shining the more better. Because that  it put more gold into the material.  Porcelain Factories normally use 5% , 6%, 9%, 12%, 15% different percent gold into the material . Our factory used material min 9% . Some even more. This is the reason why our product looked shinning and more expensive.

Porcelain with gold material are all expensive than common product. Expect for the gold material , but needing painting the gold on porcelain one by one, slowing and difficult art.

Some with gold pattern , will use real gold and imitated golden color to decoration, it will save money.  Seeing below tea caddies.
